I had the amazing opportunity to photograph Scott proposing to Alexis last Thursday night. All I have to say is DANG talk about a magical moment. Congrats to you both.

The Soldat Family

The Soldat Family was such a blast to photograph, so much energy and love. Even though the holidays are crazy busy and full of long lines, traffic, rushing packages, and eating way to much it is so nice to be able to look back at your family pictures and know that even in all the craziness you still have the love and laughter of your family.  This family sure did bring the laughter! We had so much fun making your kiddos laugh and giggle... maybe a little too much fun ;)

MY ROOMIE GOT ENGAGED!!! I am so happy to say that she is on her way to Marrying an amazing man named BERT. My friend Scott and I were privileged to hide in the bushes and capture such a precious moment. I am already way to excited for this wedding!

The Garcia Family.

The Garcia Family, I don't even know where to begin! This is probably one of the sweetest most loving families I have ever met. So much love and natural laughter. I had so much fun watching them run around the beach and laugh together. It was so refreshing! I absolutely fell in love with their family pictures and it was such an honor to be able to photograph their family :)

JUMP AROUND.

This past weekend my mom, my aunt, my cousins and I went to Palm springs to visit my Nana and Pop. We had a great time reminiscing, laughing, and crying together. On our way back home we stopped at the infamous wind mills and ran around for as long as we could in 100 degree weather.

I absolutely LOVE how these pictures came out, you can feel the silliness and smiles that came from something so innocent and fun. My cousin Sefton is the king of silly faces but i guess what boy wasn't at his age.

It was such a fun relaxing weekend, but I am very thankful to be back home where it is currently chilly with a chance of rain.

Sunday funday

The lovely miss Katie was nice enough to let me use her today to test some of my ideas and new locations and DANG she knocked it out of the park. Talk about a beauty! Not one of her images is bad.

It was so nice to finally get out and be able to shoot again--Note to self: Leave some me time so I can play!

Thank you so much Katie for making today great. You are truly one of the most amazing people I know and I am SO blessed to call you a best friend. God has big plans for you lady!

tis the season.

Well, I had to post something. My creative juices have been going crazy but life is just FLYING by and I have not had time to do anything for Poiema... BUT I did get my logo made by the most talented Sarah Ripley who is an AMAZING graphic designer. Maybe one day I will get a change to have everything else branded.

It is so crazy how right when school starts you think the summer madness will fade and I can enjoy some free time but nope my life some how goes on steroids and again I am way to busy! On a happier note so many great things are happening. Work is amazing, some of my best friends Rachel and Jared are getting married in December so the wedding festivities are about too begin!

Poiema is an amazing gift and I am so blessed to be able to create and experiment with my gifts AND at the same time bless others with it. LOVE what is happening in life! All the glory to Jesus :)

Chloe Marie

I was given the opportunity to photograph my cousin Chloe this summer when our family went out to Florida to visit. As you can see it is not hard to get an amazing picture of her. She is beautiful! It's crazy how fast we grow up, how fast time gets away from us. One minute you are playing "house" as little girls and the next minute we are graduating high school and moving on to big things.
